Day 1 | Fly to Bangalore Fly overnight from your chosen airport to Bangalore. Day 2 | Enjoy a tour of the highlights of Bangalore city Morning arrival, wash and change facilities available. A tour of the city visits Tipu Sultan’s Palace, the Chitrakala Parishath visual arts complex and the 16th-century Bull Temple. Overnight stay at the 5-star ITC Windsor Hotel. (B) Day 3 | Mysore city tour and evening Palace illumination Travel (4hrs) to Mysore. Visit the railway museum and the historic, must-see, Devaraja market. In the evening, see Mysore Palace illumination. Two nights at the 5-star Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel. (B, D) Day 4 | Visit the Jaganmohan Palace, local temple and Srirangapatna town Visit the UNESCO listed Maharaja’s residence; the Jaganmohan Art Palace gallery; and Chamundi Hills, crowned by the Chamundeshwari Temple. After lunch at the Lalitha Mahal Palace hotel, visit the town of Srirangapatna and the Tipu Sultan’s grand summer palace. (B, L) Day 5 | Travel to Ooty for lunch at the Royal Palace and a local tour Drive (5hrs) to the hill station town of Ooty, and enjoy lunch in the heritage hotel, Fernhills Royal Palace. Visit one of Ooty’s fourteen churches, enjoy the atmosphere of a local market, and stroll through the Government Botanical Gardens. Two nights at the 4-star Fortune Sullivan Court. (B, L) Day 6 | Experience the Toy Train and visit a tea plantation for lunch Travel to Coonoor on the Nilgiri Mountain Railway ‘Toy Train’. Visit local villages, enjoy lunch at a tea plantation, and Travel to Bandipur, perhaps the most beautiful of India’s national parks and boasting the largest elephant habitat in south Asia. Discover the park on an afternoon jungle safari. Overnight at the 3-star Windflower Resort & Spa. (B, L, D) Day 8 | Spend the morning on a safari before driving to the Coorg region On a morning safari in Bandipur, look out for langurs, sloth bears, guars, four-horned antelope, and over 200 species of birds. Drive (5hrs) to the Coorg region. Two nights at the 4-star Amritara Ambatty Greens Resort. (B, D) Day 9 | Enjoy a plantation visit and a spice walk, ending in High Tea Visit a coffee plantation and enjoy a spice walk. In Madikeri, explore the historic 19th-century fort and step inside the explore the botanical retreat of Sim’s Park. (B, L) Day 7 | Transfer to Bandipur and explore on an afternoon safari

(B) Day 10 | Visit the Sravanbelagola Temple en route to Hassan Drive (5hrs) to Hassan, stopping en route to visit the Sravanbelagola Temple, with its sacred, soaring statue of Lord Bahubali. Two nights at the 3-star Hoysala Village, Hassan. (B, D) Day 11 | Visit the local monuments of Hassan Hassan sits amid a treasure trove of the distinctive, extravagantly sculpted Hoysala architecture. Visit the 12th- century temples of Belur and Hoysaleswara, the largest monument in Halebidu. (B) Day 12 | Travel to Hampi and enjoy the sunset views Drive (7hrs) to the Hampi area, where the haunting remains of the 15th-century city stand proud. (B, L) Day 14 | Enjoy a full day of exploring the highlights of Hampi A full day visit to Hampi includes the striking, Virupaksha Hindu temple, the Sasivekalu Ganesha, the eleven- domed Elephant Stables and the royal Zenana enclosure, encompassing the Queen’s Palace Water Pavilion, and Hampi’s most iconic landmark, the distinctively shaped Lotus Mahal. Dinner at Hotel Malligi. (B, L, D) Day 15 | Travel to Hyderabad Travel (9hrs) into the lesser-known Telangana region to its capital, Hyderabad, a huge city of countless lakes and ponds, for two nights at the 4-star ITC Kakatiya Hotel. (B, L, D) Day 16 | Enjoy a city tour of Hyderabad, ending with a Palace High Tea A tour of the city passes the High Court buildings, and the heart-shaped Hussain Sagar Lake, visits the ruins of the massive Golconda Fort, the Telangana Archaeological Museum and the Nizam’s Museum. Enjoy High Tea and a heritage tour at the opulent Falaknuma Palace, perched high above the city.
